Isn't There Anything To Do Here? (Ashley)

Zoey walked down the hall with her pet Raja on her tale. Her tiger Cub was never leaving her site. Her teachers and everyone around her hated the idea but she still was followed by her pet.

As the day went by she didn't have anything to do. She had just started the year off and for once this year she finally had a Roommate. She had never met her but she didn't know how her new roommate would react about having a pet tiger cub. After all, most kids had a pet cat or dog. But a tiger?! Not likely.

As she walked down the hall into the Commons Room she glanced around. She didn't have anything to do and it was very bothersome. She finally went over to the window sill and sat Raja into her lap. She pulled out Alice in Wonderland and began to read.

Before she left the room, she placed a note saying for her roommate to meet her here. She didn't know what she looked like but she told in the note to look for a girl with a tiger. But maybe she didn't know she meant a Real Tiger.

Ashley was walking back to her dorm room when she saw bumped into someone. "Oh, I'm sorry!" She told the girl as she got up from the floor. At the second, she saw an animal behind her. It almost looked like a tiger. But who would bring a tiger to school? The girls exchanged apologies and went back on their way.

After her run-in with the girl, Ashley had a pretty normal day. One of her friends, Lucas, had a horse at the stables and he let her ride it so after her morning run, she went over to the stables and rode her for a bit. She went through the forest and rode all the way around campus. It was fun riding horses. After about an hour of riding, she brought the horse back to the stable.

Ashley went back to her room, then to the showers. She took a fairly long shower. Afterwards, she went to her room and got dressed. She was dressed in a pair of faded jeans and and a navy blue sweatshirt. Jeans and a sweatshirt. She didn't wear much else because she was so self conscious which she didn't need to be. She had a great body.

As she left her room and went down to the common room, she ran into the girl with the tiger again. "I am so sorry!" She said again to the girl. Once she got up from the floor, she looked down at the animal. "Is that a...tiger?" She asked finally.

Zoey laughed "Yes it is a tiger." she said. Raja lifted up his head looked at Ashley and went back to laying down. Zoey sighed and felt bad for Raja. There wasn't much a tiger could do. She had to break alot of rules just to get Raja by her side. It was hard but pulling the right strings led it to have the right things to do.

As she stared at the girl she noticed she wasn't like most of the people here. Earlier today Zoey had run into 4 people and most of them were just horrible. They were rude and snobby and she hated it. But that was all this school seemed to be. Zoey would just do what she did best and ignore them with Raja by her side.

"Are you Ashley? My new roommate?" she asked. She didn't want to be rude but she was waiting on her new roommate. Zoey always wanted one. She hoped her roommate wasn't like Annah's roommate. She heard alot from her Cousin that said Brittany was a pure evil Devil from Hell.

"Aw. He's so cute." Ashley went down to pet it then retracted a little bit. "Can I pet him?" She asked. "Or will he like, bite my hand off?" She said with a smile. This was the first ever tiger she had seen as somebody's pet.

Ashley thought tigers wouldn't be allowed. However she wasn't surprised. Most kids sent to boarding school were rich and could get away with anything. But having a tiger was definitely pushing it. She then wondered how all the other kids here were taking it. Living with a tiger couldn't be the safest thing. But then again, this tiger didn't look too scary.

Ashley looked at the girl. "I don't think so.." She said quietly. Ashley had gotten her room assignment awhile ago and she had been lucky enough to get a single room. "I'm Ashley...But I don't have a roommate..." She explained.

Zoey laughed "Yes you can pet him. He is very friendly." she said as she looked at Raja. Raja just rolled his eyes and went back to relaxing. Zoey laughed as she looked at Ashley "Really? Annah has one. But I guess it isn't here yet. She was having it come with her since I got Raja back. I wonder how her roommate will react." she laughed thinking about Brittany freaking out.

Zoey smiled "Annah and I were suppose to share a dorm but since we both have tigers they thought it wasn't safe." she said. Zoey didn't need to state that she was Annah's body guard or anything. Not many of the students knew Annah was the Princess so it was hard to protect her and keep it hidden at the same fact.

When Zoey heard that she wasn't the roommate she smiled "Thats alright. I'm sure she will arrive soon. She might just flip." she laughed. As she thought about the last roommate she smiled. Bethany had screamed and ran as fast and far as she could.

Ashley crouched down again after Zoey said it would be okay. She extended her arm and petted the tiger. It was really soft and didn't really move. It hadn't bitten her hand off yet so that was a plus. After she was done petting him, she stood back up and looked at Annah. "Who's her roommmate?" She asked.

"Annah? Annah Jones? Isn't she the ex princess or something?" News traveled fast around school. That would mean her roommate was...Brittany. She hadn't even been here one day and she had made an enemy out of Brittany without even trying.

Ashley smiled, "Sorry." She shrugged her shoulders. Although the tiger seemed harmless, she didn't want to take any chances. It looked like he was just a baby. So when he grew, she didn't know what would happen. They probably wouldn't let a full sized tiger live in the dorms.

Zoey laughed "Yes my cousin is Annah. And her roommate doesn't know Mia is coming yet but she will soon." Apparently news traveled very fast around this school. Still, Annah hated making enemies and it appeared she already did.

As Zoey looked around she heard a preppy girl laugh "So she says her name is Zoey and she has a pet tiger! As if!" she said as she looked Zoey's way. She looked down at Ashley and the tiger "Is it real?" she asked. Zoey sighed "Yes." she said.

Ashley glared at her "I was asking the girl...not you." she sneered as she looked at Ashley, waiting.

Well at least Annah and Ashley had something to bond over. Brittany hated Ashley too. Ashley had kissed Brittany's boyfriend, Lucas, yesterday. At the time she didn't know he was taken. And in all fairness Lucas had kissed her. Either way she felt horribly.

Ashley had been at Rosehurst for a couple days now. She had made friends with most of the girls in the dorm. One thing that was drilled into her head by her parents at a young age was to always be friendly. "You can never have too many friends." That's what her mother always said. She always made friends quickly. She knew who the girl was who was asking about the tiger. She lived on her floor.

Ashley silently nodded her head at the girl with the blond curls. There was a small smile on her face as she gently scooped up the small tiger and held her close to her chest. The cat was very playfully. It batted at her hair as she tried to have a conversation with the preppy girl and Zoey.

Zoey sighed "Your lucky I don't have Raja sick you." she said her anger rising. Unlike Princess AnnahBella. She was more temepered and didn't take that crap from anyone. As she looked at the preppy girl again she realized who she was "I'll move my dorm if you don't want to camp up with me."

The girl laughed "Don't bother. I'll stay with you but you better learn to get rid of that thing!" she said as ske pointed at Raja. Zoey narrowed her eyes and said three words. "Raja, Get her!"

The tiger cub got out of Ashley's hands and onto the floor. She growled at trhe Preppy Ashley and waited.

"Zoey..." Ashley said. She placed her hand on Zoey's shoulder, trying to calm her. It was a little worrisome to see how fast she changed. A second ago she was fine and now she was flipping out. She stood there silently while the two girls fought.

"ZOEY!" Ashley yelled as she tried to hold the tiger back. "You can't sick your tiger on everyone you don't like!" She screamed. Ashley turned to the preppy girl. "Ashley, you should go!" She said. The girl ran out of the room while Ashley held the tiger.

Once Ashley was gone she turned to Zoey. "What was that?!" She asked.

Zoey smiled "I'm a bodyguard for my Princess. I have to be harsh when needed." she said looking down at Raja "Besides. Raja has never harmed anyone. And I knew he wasn't going to." she laughed "But I can't allow people to walk all over me. I won't allow that." she said.

Zoey came from a hard life. When she was nine her father died protecting Annah from her father. It was a hard life for Zoey after that. She had to look after herself and her mother, for her mother was so far gone after her father died. Then when Zoey was old enough she was able to leave where she was and went to Guard Annah herself. Now she follows Annah where ever she roams.

"I would also assume you have to stay calm under pressure." Ashley insisted. "Either way, sicking a tiger on someone is not acceptable. If she tells the headmistress, you can say goodbye to Raja and Mia." Ashley didn't want it to sound like a threat but a warning. People here did not take getting threatened lightly.

Ashley watched the tiger strut all around the room. He was cute, that was for sure. "Do you want to come back to my room?" She asked. Maybe she wouldn't get into any confrontations there. She lead Zoey down the hall to her room. She had a single so nobody was in the room. The room itself looked like a mini version of her room at home.

Zoey sighed "Now your sounding like Annah" she laughed. Annah knew how to pull the right strings when she needed to. She was always able to do that ever since she got here. How else was she able to stay with Zoey nearly all the time.

Raja followed Ashley to her room with Zoey right on his paws steps. Zoey looked around "Nice place. How did you get it?" she wondered why Annah didn't ask for one. Still it didn't bother her. Now Annah was stuck with Brittany and not Zoey.

Ashley smiled. "I don't mean to nag. You seem nice is all and I would hate to see you get in trouble." She said. She meant every word. Ashley always saw the best in people. Even if that person just sicked a tiger on someone else.

Ashley quickly came to her room and opened the door. She didn't know how she managed to get a single, he just did. "I wouldn't know." She told Zoey. She hadn't asked for one, it was just assigned to her.

Zoey laughed "Don't worry, I'm sure that Preppy girl was going to live." she smiled. Zoey smiled. She loved this school, there were many people to harass and pick on. She loved protecting Annah. That was true but she didn't mind helping her out by getting rid of all the mean people...after all, they would walk all over her.

Zoey smiled as she looked around "Nice place." she said "Did your parents pay money for the room?" she asked. Annah wouldn't be able to get help from her from her parents. Her mother was dead after all and her father nearly had her killed!
