Damon chuckled darkly to himself. "We'll see." He said so quietly it was hard for anyone to hear him. Wynter was the one who Alec had passed the note to. She turned to face him and smiled. "Good luck with that. She's a prude." Brittany snatched the note from Wynter and read it over. "Let's make a bet." She said with an evil smile. "You seem very confident that you can get her." She then wrote the rest on a piece of paper and sent it back to him. 'If you can tap that by the end of the month, I'll pay you a grand. If you don't, you pay me a grand."
Jamie smiled when Annah made a scene. Only she would do something like that in the middle of class. He'd have to talk to her after class about it. Jamie agreed with Tori about Annah's temper. "Me and Annah? I don't know. We're friends I guess." She told her in a hushed tone.
"But the baby is born by then. If we're talking about abortion, A fetus isn't a person until when it first breathes." He insisted. "And we're not playing the what if game here, this is a debate."
The teacher saw there was a fight brewing so she stopped them before it could escalate. "Our next topic for debate will be love." She said. "Ms. Jones. You will be pro life. Ms. Aimes. You will be anti love."

Annah groaned "Oh come on!" she said as she came up to the room "Teacher, I thought this was a sex ex class...not debate class." she said as she looked at the class. She had stage fright.
Zoey smiled "Go Annah." she mouthed as she saw Tori and Jamie take their seats. She felt bad for Annah. She didn't know anything about love. She was never taught. Her father hated her more than anything and she never had any boyfriends.
James smirked at how things have turned out. She loved it alot.
Alec looked at Brittany "Deal." he wasn't worried. A grand was nothing to him. He wouldn't miss it. He smirked at Brittany "Double or nothing if I can get it twice." he said. He wasn't worried.

"It is. But part of your grade is oral presentation." The teacher explained. "And debate falls into that category." She encouraged Annah to come forward.
Ashley had been in the corner of the room. Nobody had really noticed her yet. She had been jotting a few notes down and doodling. When she was called up she was ready. She would have rather not gone up but since she had to she would make the most of it. When she got to the front of the class he could tell Annah was nervous. She smiled kindly at her. Ashley felt bad for her.

Brittany's mouth curled into a smile when Alec told her it was a deal. "Talk about making a deal with the devil..." Wynter said quietly. "Deal." Brittany said when he offered double or nothing. This should be easy. She felt kind of bad for basically just taking Alec's money like this though...Who was she kidding? She didn't feel bad. She felt great. She was going to win and buy a new pair of shoes with the money. It didn't really matter that a girl might actually get hurt because of this bet.

Annah sighed "You go first." she said. Why was she the one who has to accept it. She didn't know the first thing about love. Go based of your family? She couldn't do that. Her family were horrible pricks. Now What?

Ashley nodded at Annah. Okay." She turned to the class and started. "I don't believe in love." She simply stated. And she didn't. That made the whole debate a lot easier for her.

Annah shook her head "No, love it real. Once you find the person of your dreams. The world stops, you see nothing but him....or her...and everyone else seems not to be there." she said to start off with.

"That's because when you're in 'love' dopamine is released into your brain. Which is why you can only think of that person. That can last anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months. After that passes, you start looking for qualities you deem appropriate for a life partner. Now does that sound like love to you?" She asked.

This was one topic Annah knew nothing about and this and it was starting to show. She didn't know what to say now but she had to try something. "Love is when you will only ever seem them It never fails and never ends. Its real." she saw it with her mother. "There are many types of love. Child's love for a parents. Love as a partner and many more. Love in unfailing and is there no matter what happens."

Ashley sighed. All the arguments Annah was making were trivial. You couldn't prove there was anything real about love. Which is why she had a problem with it from the beginning. "You're supposed to be in love when you get married, right?" She asked. "Half of all marriages end in divorce. And another fourth live in a loveless marriage."

Annah closed her eyes in front of everyone. She thought back to when her mother was alive and thought. Her mother would smiled and now Annah smiled. Annah spoke her mothers words aloud to the class "Love is unfailing and undying. It can't end as long as your heart tells you its real." she said then opened her eyes. "Love is there and if you can see yourself without the person..." she looked at Ashley "Then you were never in love to begin with." she said smiling. That wasn't so hard.

Ashley sighed. Again the point Annah brought up couldn't be proven. "So what you're saying is that love is a feeling. From the way people describe it, it's some kind of amazing, magical, unbelievable thing. Does that mean all of that is just hype?'" She asked. The subject was getting old, fast. It was one of those subjects that you couldn't change their mind about during a debate.

Annah smirked "Love is like Air...its like God. You don't see it. Can't touch it. Can't taste it. But you know its there. Its not just a feeling. God isn't a feeling. Air isn't a feeling. Its just like those. Now yes Air you can feel but thats wind. Not air. Yet you know Air is there. And some people know god is there."

"I'm an Atheist." Ashley said simply. She stayed calm throughout the entire debate. Even though Annah was making no valid points. Valid point came from facts. And in order for something to be a fact, it had to be proven.
The teacher quickly realized this argument was becoming very heated so she broke it up. "Girls, you may return to yo-" The teacher was cut off by the bell. "Monday we will be talking about sexually transmitted diseases." She tried yelling over all the noise.

Annah sighed as she grabbed her things and her and Zoey, along with their tigers, left the classroom "Why have me go up there. I didn't know anything about love!" she said as she looked at the classmates sticking around in the halls. She hated debating because people always got mad and it made no sense. It was just a topic that had two different sides.
James walked out still listening to music. He was so bored he didn't care what happened anymore. It was so pointless to him to be in that class and people had no common sense in there it seemed. All they thought about was making of fun of the teacher and it bored him. Still as he walked to his next class he saw a few girls and stopped to talk to them.
Alec walked out with Damon. "Hey, wanna make a bet. Bet you can't get little miss perfect over there to sleep with you." he laughed. Since he was in a bet he thought so should Damon.
