Don't Scare Them! (Jeydon)

Annahbella sighed as she held her schoolbooks in her arms. Why was she even going to this school? She never was wanted to go to an acadey. She was shunned from her kingdom, from her home, now she was going here? Why? What good would it do?

She jumped when she heard movement near the stables and thought it must have been the horses. Something seemed to be startling them. She looked around when she entered the stables and found only silence and the sound of few animals. As she came closer to a horse she petted him and cooed him to him calm. She heard the snap of a twig just outside the door. She turned, placed her hand off the horse, and waited to who it was.

James was walking around the outer layer of the Rosehurst campus. He was going to skip class today. As he rounded the stables, he heard someone. He waited to see a very pretty girl jump then enter the stables. He walked over to get a closer look and stopped at the door. He leaned against the doorframe and raised an eyebrow. "Hi. I'm Jamie." He greeted the girl.

Annah turned when she heard someone and she instantly relaxed "Annah." she told him simply. She didn't know who he was nor what he was doing here. She turned back to the Mare and went back to petting the animals. "You better get to class. You don't want to get in trouble." she said smirked. It was clear she was toying with him, testing his limits.

Jamie laughed. "And so should you. But you're new. Aren't you?" He asked. "Because if you weren't new, you would know that that horse you're petting is mine." He walked further into the stables and went over to his horse. He got on with ease, bareback. "Well come on then." He said as he offered a hand to the girl.

Annah smirked as she kept petting the mare "I don't see how it could belong you. I don't see your name on it." she said as she finally stopped petting her and looked up. She grabbed his hand and pulled herself up. "You do something stupid, I'll make sure you regret it." she warned him as she wrapped her arms around his waist.

Jamie smiled to himself as he listened to her warning and wrapped her arms around his waist. His parents had gotten him a foal three years ago, when he first came to Rosehurst. He brought lightening with him every year. He kicked the horse and headed toward the forest were there was a worn path.

Annah waited as she looked around to where they were going "So where are we going anyways?" she asked him as she laid her head against his back. She was only here a few days before meeting him. Her family that adopted her were kind but she had to be placed her here, and she didn't know why.

"I don't know." Jamie said laughing. He usually had no idea where he was riding to. He just rode to ride. Getting there was half the fun. "So tell me about yourself." He said when he felt her head on his back. "Why are you here?"

Annah smiled "Because no place can keep me contained. I don't think this place will either. I have no need of being here. I excel in all my classes. But I can't be in a place for long. If I do I get bored and then get into trouble." she laughed at the last part. She was always a trouble maker but she didn't let it show on that sweet face of hers.

Lucas laughed. "Trust me. This place is anything but boring." The school constantly threw manditory events to try to keep the students occupied and when they weren't doing that, kids were busy getting into trouble or drama. Jamie tried his best to stay out of it, or at least not get caught doing it but somehow he always ended up in the middle.

Annah shrugged her shoulders as she looked around the forest. She didn't know where they were "Are we going to get lost?" she asked now sitting up. She looked around and was starting to get a bit worried. Without warning she jumped off the mare "Well, I guess I shall be on foot from here." she said "It was nice meeting you." she told him as she smiled sweetly then off she went on her own, mainly to see if he would follow.

"Are you crazy?!" Jamie shouted, stopping the horse. He turned lightening around and quickly caught up to Annahbella. "What are you doing?" He sighed and closed his eyes. "Okay. Have it your way." He kicked the horse again and started off in the direction of the school He turned around once and asked, "Sure you don't want a ride?"

Annah laughed "A ride. Like you knew where we heading. You said yourself you didn't." she said looking at him cocking her head to the side a bit. She eyed him for a few then walked closer to the mare and petted her. "Alright. You win, for now." she said as she climbed back on the mare.

Jamie smiled as he helped Annahbella back onto the horse. He kicked the horse once more and head back to the school. It didn't take long to get there. He skillfully got off once they were back at the stables and helped Annahbella off too. He but lightening back into the stables and turned to Annah. "So what dorm are you in?" He asked curiously.

Annah laughed "Which one am I assigned or which one do I stay in?" she asked smiling sweetly at him. She wasn't worried about where they were anymore. "However, this period is almost over. You better not be late. This is my study period so I have nothing planned." she said as she walked over to her books, bent down to pick them up, and looked back at him "Coming?"
