MaryBeth was out and about, that much was sure. What she wasn't sure of was what she was doing out here at this time of night. She was able to handle herself, that she knew very well.
Out on the streets of London normally wasn't safe at night but then again she wasn't normal. With the classic favorite book 'Alice in Wonderland' in her hands, she smiled as she walked and said out loud "6 Impossible Things..."
As she walked she heard someone walking behind her, catching up to her. Whoever it was, she knew there was more than one and they could move...fast. At this time she was ready for combat.
Where was her sister when she needed her most. Why did she have to be in the States right now when she needed back up, needed help. There was no one she could call. The other slayers were all busy on their own with slaying these blood suckers.
With her daggers in both her hands, her bow and arrows thrown over her shoulders as she waited for what was coming her way. "Count the 6 impossible things MaryBeth."
As the shadows appeared, MaryBeth knew there was more than three...more than she could handle. Thats when she began to count "One, Vampires exist." she said as the shadows became shapes that became faces. "Two, Vampires can survive in sunlight...against the legend of course." she continued stating as the vampires came closer.
All were male, and from what she could see, there were more than she could take on her own. Once again, where was AmyBeth when she needed her most. She always vanished when it was going to get bad and something was going to happen. Lovely sister she had.
Once they were ready for attack she knew she wouldn't stand a chance, let alone live. They were vampires, and she was a slayer but she still couldn't live past six vampires.
"Three, Pure Bloods can reproduce." she told herself as the men came closer. First vampire that touched her she knew the fight was on. She didn't waste any time. She cut his arms off using the daggers in her hands, seconds later.....his head was off, he was dead.
"Four....come on MaryBeth....." she said as she dodged the next vampire. However he had a friend whom pinned her against the wall. Mind you, MaryBeth didn't like that too much. She growled as she kneed him in his family jewels. Even if he was a vampire, that was going to hurt and give her the chance to get away. "Four, guys can get beat by a girl!" she said than ran for her bladed fans. As soon as she had them, she cut off his head. "Two down....four to go!" she smirked.
Once she heard the growl of his friends she laughed "Was that a friend of yours? Did I hurt your feelings? Aww poor babies. I'm sure you mommy would help you. But let me guess. I killed her too didn't I?" she asked. That had to be the reason they were here to begin with.
"Five, I can beat and kill the rest of you....and live." she said as she flew at the other man whom had tried to attack her. Killing him and leaving 3 more with her. "Wow. you guys are fading fast." she laughed as she collected her fans and daggers. She placed her fans in their pockets and placed the daggers inside their cases.
"Come now...is that the best you can do? My twin sister can do better than that. She would be more of a challenge than you. My grandmother would make you seem like babies. They would make deadlier vampires than all of you...before I killed the other three." She laughed, clearly seeing she was upsetting them.
Thats when Nicholai stepped between the other two vampires "But we are pure bloods. They were merely created vampires to serve as our tools." he smirked as the three of them cornered MaryBeth. "Now you will join them." he said backing her up against the alley wall.
"Six...I'm going to live through this." she said as she set her fans free and flew them at the two on Nicholai's sides. She gasped in surprised when she saw she cut their heads off. Nicholai growled at her as she felt his hand on her throat.
Before she could do anything he cut her arms and her legs, letting her blood fill the air. "You smell......mouth watering." he laughed as he saw her struggle. "Goodbye, foolish girl..." he said as he raised his hand up to strike for the kill.
At the last second she managed to move a bit, getting her hands to the daggers and allowing them to cut Nicholai's arm. She opened a vial and poured a bit of red think liquid on his wound "Dead man's blood. Something you pure bloods can't stand." she said barely able to stand. But as any hunter would do..she stood her ground.
Just when it seemed to start again, Nicholai growled and told her "You won't live next time we meet girl!" he said then fled away. Now hurt and weak, MaryBeth fell to the ground. She couldn't move. She couldn't even stand. She was now alone...finally. But now she was alone, weak and vulnerable. Now anyone could come get her and she couldn't do a thing. She knew right then...she was going to die.
Finally Annah had to place the book down. She couldn't see straight. She had been reading for what seemed like hours. She loved reading 'The Slayers and the 6 things.' She had been reading for nearly 8 straight hours. It was nearly sunset, good thing it was a weekend. She heard three people coming in, or it seemed to be three people. There were at least three Voices. Annah sighed and picked up her book again and began reading again.
Noah was out walking, running an errand for Christian. He was in a pretty good mood tonight, He had gotten to spend more time with Christian then Issac did. He knew it killed Issac when that happened. He loved his brother but most of the time he was an idiot. He whistled happily as he walked but stopped when he suddenly heard what sounded like a fight.[/i]
He climbed to the top of a building and looked down to enjoy the show. The Slayer was doing a pretty good job so far. He winced everytime one of his kind went down. He knew he should have jumped down to help them, but Christian would have disapproved, They didn't look like the belonged to Christian. He brand was not on any of their arms.
He was about to get bored and leave when he heard a very familiar voice. He looked down and sure enough there stood Nicholai. "that girl is as good as dead" He thought to himself. He knew how Nicholai was and he wasn't going to let that girl live.
When the last two created Vamps got their heads cut off his hand shot to his neck. He really should get out of their before he could lose his neck. Then again the girl wouldn't live long enough to see him their on the roof.
He got the shock of his life when Nicholai had gone in for the kill and suddenly stopped. That girl was better then he thought. "I need to report to Christian about this" he thought to himself, But when he saw the girl laying their helpless, he was intrigued. She had defeated all of those Vampires, by herself with no one else helping her, she was dangerous and should be done away with, but when he jumped down and walked over to her, he couldn't do anything. He just stared at her. He couldn't bring himself to kill a helpless girl, He may have been a Vampire but he was still a gentlemen. Issac would have called him weak for it but He leaned down and picked her up gently and started walking, "Your safe." was all he said to her the first words he had spoken all night.
He took her to his old house that had still been there and bandaged all her wounds and made sure she was going to live. He could feel the sun coming up, he needed to get down stairs to the basement. He made sure she would be okay without him for a little while and hurried down to the basement where the sun wouldn't reach. The laid down on some old furniture and relaxed, waiting for sleep to take him.
She heard the people speak up and nearly yelled at them "Would you shut up! I'm reading here!" she said seeing they were men. She sighed as she got back to her book
When she heard someone come closer she tried her best to move but there was nothing she could do. She wanted to fight but she couldn't. However when she heard him say "You're safe." she was now able to relax somehow. When she thought she would be able to rest and sleep because she now felt she would be safe, she had that gut feeling that she got when she felt a danger. When a vampire was closer.[/i]
"Your....a vampire aren't you?" she asked barely able to keep her eyes opened. With hope he wasn't going to cause him harm and not much will power left, she went to sleep against his chest.
When she came to, she didn't know where she was. She had never been in this house. It was a big town but she didn't know this place. This room was small. It had the bed she was sitting in and a few other things but it was also plain and so normal. There was a window but it seemed to be barred up.
"Why on earth is it barred?" she asked herself as she looked for her weapons. She didn't know this place and that bothered her nearly as much as being taken someplace she didn't know. She said as she saw there was no way to escape without being seen.
"How am I going to get out of this one?" she asked herself as she stood off the bed and opened the door. She didn't know where she was going to go but the door wqas unlocked, meaning one thing......She wasn't being held against her will.
To Merely be polite she thought about who had got her here and why they haven't killed her yet. Seeing as how the person who what she was. She knew they knew. But why would they bring her here. She decided to wait for the person. The sun was almost set now. If she needed to fight and cut their head off. She could.

Noah slept peacefully for a while. He knew he should have just left the house since that girl was a slayer but he figured that since he had helped her maybe she would decided not to try to kill him. It was wishful think but it helped him sleep. Christian was going to worry about him. He hated worrying her but he wanted more info on the girl.[/i]
When he awoke he went up stairs and was surprised to find her sitting there waiting for him. Being the quiet person that he is he didn't say anything to her. He just walked past her her and started going through his old things. He waited for her to say something to break the awkward silence.

Anyen sat there on the bed when he walked into the room. She looked at him and she knew right then and there that he was a vampire. Her guard was immediately up "What is it you want from me? My sister doesn't even know I'm here. And there is no way in hell I'm going to let you bite me." she told him her eyes narrowed as she watched him move about the place.[/i]
"Why haven't you killed me yet?" she asked now that she was thinking about it. She should be dead, he was a vampire after all and she was a slayer. It didn't add up. She was dangerous to him as he was to her. She was a bit nervous but nothing she couldn't handle.
She heard steps coming and stood "Who is that?" she asked. Her sister and her had a feeling when her sister was near. She was coming back soon but maybe it wasn't soon enough.

Noah looked at the girl and kept his guard up just in case she decided to attack him. If she was smart she would't. when she asked him what he hadn't killed her he just shrugged. He didn't know why he had kept her alive, He just had. A smart Vampire would have killed her by now. His head turned toward the door when he heard footsteps and sure enough there was Issac.[/i]
Issac crossed his arms at his brother, "Where the Hell have you been!? You kept me and Christian up all day waiting for you to come home! and now I find you here with a human?! you know we are only allowed to feed with Christian. you might as well let me have a taste now." He stepped towards the girl but Noah stood in between them, "No." Noah said quietly "...She's important."
*****
Anyen growled "Don't touch me!" she said as she stood. Where was Kiyla when she needed her! Now she was alone with two vampires "Just set me free and I won't have to kill you." she said but she will admit she was at a disadvantage because her weapons were taken from her.
She looked at them "What is it you want from me?" she asked. She was tired of Vampires always taken her hostage. She never liked it. It always made her mad.

Issac raised an eyebrow at his brother, “A slayer? You mean to tell me that she is a slayer, and you don’t want me to kill her and you won’t kill her yourself? What the hell is wrong with your mind!? We are Vampires, Sworn to serve Christian and the Pure Bloods, She is a Slayer, Sworn to cut our ing heads off as quickly as she can!” He said getting angry, “I swear if you weren’t my brother I would kick your ass…”
Noah ignored his brother for now and turned to the girl, “Your safe…” He told her for the second time since meeting her, “You don’t have to be afraid.” He told her calmly. He just needed to get rid of his brother for now, “Issac, go home.”
Issac frowned, “I am not going anywhere. I am not going to leave you alone with a slayer, you should have killed her when you had the chance. She is probably plotting you death right now as we speak.”
Noah pointed at the door, “Leave, Now.” He said through clenched teeth. He loved his brother but he got on his nerves sometimes. “I will be there later.’ all this talking was really giving him a head ache.
Issac knew he wasn’t going to win so he headed towards the door, “Fine, it’s your funeral. I will be back to collect your body later.”
Noah shook his head and looked again at the girl, “I’m sorry.” He said quietly, “Please sit.”
She sighed hearing more noises "Dammit! I'm nearly done!" she said when someone placed a hand on her book "What are you doing?" she asked as the hand took her book away from her. She got up from her chair and spun around...facing the person. "Give it back!"
