If you're reading this letter it means you've been accepted into Rosehurst Boarding Academy. Please take some time to read through the whole Rosehurst Code of Conduct. It will give you a better idea of what exactly you've just gotten yourself into and will hopefully help you stay out of trouble.
Uniforms
Every pupil is required to wear a school uniform on weekdays during school hours. Uniforms may be modified slightly for comfort, but modified sensibly and within reason. School uniforms are not required on the weekends. The School Uniform is as follows;
Girls:
Knee length black/charcoal A-line skirt
Black tights or black/charcoal knee length socks
A white/grey blouse
Fitted maroon blazer
Black jumper w/ school logo (sweater)
School issued maroon tie
Black flat soled shoes
Boys:
Black trousers/shorts
Black jumper w/ school logo
White/grey polo shirt
Fitted maroon blazer
School issued maroon tie
Black dress shoes
Rules
●Pupils are not allowed off campus without permission from the headmistress or teacher supervision
●Lights out for freshmen by 10P.M, for sophomores and juniors lights out is 11P.M. and for seniors 12A.M.
●Pupils are allowed to visit the dorms of the opposite gender until 7P.M. during the week and 8P.M. on the weekend.
●No cooking in dorm rooms, there are kitchenettes located in the common room area where the R.A.s can cook. If they're not around food can be found in the fridges. Pupils are not allowed to cook.
●Discrimination of any kind is against the rules and will result in punishment.
●Any damage to the school's or other's property will result in punishment
●Weekly testings must be attended
●Pupils must follow their designated time table, no class should be missed, and you are only to be excused with a valid reason
●Pupils must take the mandatory classes, and at least one extracurricular.
●Shopping trips into Leighton take place every other Saturday. A punishment may result in missing said visit. Pupils must get permission from their guardian in order to attend these trips.
● Drugs, Alcohol and Cigarettes are strictly prohibited.
● All student must keep a C average in all classes. If you do not, you will be asked to leave Rosehurst. Athletes must keep a C average in all to stay on their team.
●Tattoos are not allowed to be shown
●Facial piercings must be removed during school hours.
Meal Times
Breakfast 6-7A.M.
Lunch 12-1P.M.
Dinner 7-8P.M
All meals are served in the dining hall.
Syllabus
Classes are held from Monday to Friday.
Required classes include English, Math, Science, History, and a Foreign Language. Pupils are also placed in up to three electives. Rosehurst encourages all students to challenge themselves academically by trying out for one of our many advanced placement/honors classes we offer. Each class is exactly an hour long.

-Annual Boy Toy Auction
These are school organized events that aren't compulsory, though they are a lot of fun! Students may organise events with the headmaster's permission.
Punishments
Breaking rules has it's consequences. Pupils are only allowed three rule violations. Rosehurst does not tolerate any kind of rule breaking. Possible punishments include;
-Warning
-Writing Lines in the Headmistress' office
-Saturday Detention
-All school event ban
Testing A weekly testing will take place, meant to measure your academic progress while at Rosehurst. These must be attended, they are essential to the school.
